Smoked Baked Beans

Smoked BBQ beans are my favorite side. This is a quick and easy recipe that you can throw on the smoker while you are cooking up your main dish! I prefer to use linguiça sausage, if you can’t find that, you can substitute andouille or chorizo.


  • 28oz Can Bush’s Original Baked Beans

  • 15oz Can Butter Beans

  • ¼ Cup Dark Brown Sugar

  • ¼ Cup Chipotle BBQ Sauce

  • 1 Tablespoon Ancho Chili Powder

  • 1 Tablespoon Paprika

  • ½ Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper (optional)

  • 2 Spicy Pork Sausages Sliced (Linguiça, Andouille, or Chorizo)


  • Combine all ingredients in a 12” cast iron skillet.
  • Smoke at 250° for 90 minutes stirring every 30 minutes.
