Smoked Baked BeansCourse: Side DishDifficulty: Easy
Smoked BBQ beans are my favorite side. This is a quick and easy recipe that you can throw on the smoker while you are cooking up your main dish! I prefer to use linguiça sausage, if you can’t find that, you can substitute andouille or chorizo.
28oz Can Bush’s Original Baked Beans
15oz Can Butter Beans
¼ Cup Dark Brown Sugar
¼ Cup Chipotle BBQ Sauce
1 Tablespoon Ancho Chili Powder
1 Tablespoon Paprika
½ Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper (optional)
2 Spicy Pork Sausages Sliced (Linguiça, Andouille, or Chorizo)
- Combine all ingredients in a 12” cast iron skillet.
- Smoke at 250° for 90 minutes stirring every 30 minutes.
